I'll dominate 'serious combatant' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning massive earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters participated in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
